We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Specialist to join our dynamic supply/procurement team in a private healthcare environment.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service by replenishing hospital imprest areas, ensuring timely delivery of essential medical goods.
- Promote a positive team culture, communicate effectively with colleagues, and offer assistance as required.
- Demonstrate professional practice by working according to established policies and processes, adhering to the code of conduct.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Support quality improvement initiatives by actively participating in department meetings, audits, and quality activities.
- Previous supply experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Experience in computerized inventory management systems (e.g. Technology One).
- Capability to work in various areas of supply, including ordering and receipting of medical goods, inventory management, and managing hospital imprest levels in conjunction with unit managers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level organization and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Aptitude to work independently and within a team structure.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Professionalism when dealing with internal customers, external suppliers, and stakeholders.
