Base + Health Allowances + Qtrly BonusesGold Fields is a globally diversified gold producer with nine operating mines in Australia, South Africa, Ghana, Peru, Canada and Chile.Gold Fields' mining assets in the Australia region include a 100% interest in the St Ives, Agnew and Granny Smith mines and a 50:50 interest in the Gruyere JV project with Gold Road Resources.Reporting to the Senior Advisor: Contracts, the ideal candidate will be a service-driven team player with a successful contract development and administration track record.This position provides contract management support across Gold Fields Australia's (4) mining operations.This permanent role is offered on a 9-day fortnight roster at our Perth corporate office.As employees at Gold Fields, we expect all employees to act in a manner that seeks to align and enhance the company's values, safety culture, and performance with the purpose of creating enduring value beyond mining.Benefits include:Quarterly Bonus Scheme or Short- and Long-Term IncentivesFlexible work arrangements on offerEmployee referral program - $10,000 per successful referralSalary sacrifice optionsLong service leave pro rata after 5 years of continuous serviceIncreased annual leave entitlementsEmployee Assistance ProgramEducational assistanceAbout the role:Managing key contractual relationships and performance outcomes between Gold Fields and its contractors;Identifying and creating opportunities for cost reduction and value-adding in all agreements entered into on behalf of Gold Fields Australia Pty Ltd and its related entities;Leading negotiations and providing input into the development, implementation and management of contracts;Development and ongoing management of key spend categories within an assigned contract portfolio per Gold Fields' category management framework and company policies/procedures;Liaising with key stakeholders to review and develop category management strategies;Compiling agreement documentation, recommendations for award and managing variations; andManaging contractor relationships with a view to minimising commercial risk.About you:Tertiary Qualifications in Supply Chain, Business, Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Law or related discipline.3+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining, resources and/or construction industries.A proven track record in developing and managing a broad range of goods, services and works contracts, including forming sourcing strategies, tendering, adjudication, negotiation, award and ongoing commercial management.Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.SAP Ariba and SAP MM experience highly regarded.Applications can be submitted via: Fields is committed to achieving an inclusive workforce.
