Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled Contracts Advisor to lead sourcing activities for Digital and Technology related pillars.

The successful candidate will have experience in procurement of Technology Related Products Services and Solutions, as well as excellent communications skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels within the organisation.

This is a 2 year contract requirement located at our state of art CBD office. We offer an excellent negotiable day rate, salary sacrificing, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and Corporate discounts.

About This Role

As a Contracts Advisor, you will be responsible for leading end to end sourcing activities for Digital and Technology related pillars - Reserves & Subsurface, Technology and Innovation, Telecommunications, IT, Cyber, Digital / AI, Enterprise Systems and capital project technology requirements.

You will also engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide advice relating to contract strategies, sourcing options and ways to achieve lowest total cost of ownership.

Negotiating contract terms and conditions through to successful contract award is also a key responsibility of this role.

You will provide reporting and analysis, supporting the ongoing development of the Technical Services category.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Finance or other related disciplines/relevant experience in a Contracting and Sourcing role.
  • Demonstrated experience with procurement of Technology Related Products Services and Solutions or demonstrated ability to translate existing contracting and procurement skills to a new and previously unknown category.
  • Highly developed communications skills with an ability to interact and influence at all levels within the organisation.
  • Pre award experience and ability to manage the end to end tender process.
  • A well organised self-starter with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritise across multiple activities and stakeholder groups.
  • Positive and proactive person who works well with people of different backgrounds and skills.
