**About the Company**

We are currently recruiting an experienced Claims Specialist for a large NSW Government agency.

**About the Role**

This role will be responsible for conducting PIAWE reviews in line with the department's PIAWE framework providing technical advise to claims teams and supporting the transition of ongoing PIAWE reviews to Claims Service Providers.

Key accountabilities include:

- Perform PIAWE reviews in line with the department's PIAWE framework
- Collate, sort and supply data to the Assurance Lead and/or Head of Quality Assurance to assist reporting and monitor progress against targets
- Provide support to external audit firm to ensure PIAWE reviews are completed and documented
- Liase with Claims Service Providers to facilitate timely remediation payments, track payment referrals and record payment volume and incidence
- Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, industry codes, company policies, procedures and customer satisfaction standards
- Support the transition of PIAWE reviews to Claims Service providers by providing training and technical support
- Provide SME/project support as required

**About You**
- Experience in workers compensation claims management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have time management skills
