
Claims Analyst

**12 Month Contract + possibility of extension**
**Pay: $510 / day + super**
**Location: Sydney CBD & WFH (Combination of onsite & WFH arrangement)**
**Hours of work: 38hrs / week**
**Primary purpose of the role**:
This role will be responsible for conducting PIAWE reviews in line with the organisations PIAWE framework providing technical advice to the business and Claims Service Provider claims teams and supporting the transition of ongoing PIAWE reviews to Claims Service Providers.
**Key accountabilities**:
- Perform PIAWE reviews in line with PIAWE framework
- Collate, sort and supply data to the Assurance Lead and/or Head of Quality Assurance to assist reporting and monitor progress against targets.
- Provide support to external audit firm to ensure PIAWE reviews are completed to documented plan
- Liaise with Claims Service Providers to advise process, obtain necessary documentation, advise outcome of reviews and facilitate remediation where applicable.
- Liaise with Claims Service Providers to facilitate timely remediation payments, track payment referrals and record payment volume and incidence.
- Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, industry codes, company policies, procedures and customer satisfaction standards.
- Support the transition of PIAWE reviews to Claims Service providers by providing training and technical support.
- Provide SME/project support within the CAR Team and wider Workers Compensation group as required.
**Essential requirements**:
- Portfolio management experience with an understanding of the complexities, interdependencies and diverse interactions between elements of a workers compensation claims portfolio.
- Experience in undertaking Workers Compensation technical reviews
- Ability to exercise a high level of empathy and sensitivity to work with diverse stakeholders and identify the different styles of engagement required
- Experience calculating and reviewing PIAWE
