The role
This role will provie expert quality assurance and support for Queensland Health's (QH) strategic workforce planning framework by offering guidance on technical, data, business procedures, and workforce planning methodologies. Key responsibilities include responding to enquiries, assisting the Manager, Workforce Planningin coordinating team efforts across departmental divisions and Hospital and Health Services (HHS), and helping to develop workforce and action plans aligned with the QH Workforce Strategy. Additionally, you will create and distribute contemporary training materials, lead promotional activities to encourage the adoption of strategic workforce planning practices, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and execution of workforce initiatives and policies.
The successful person
To excel in this role, you will need strong negotiation skills to secure favorable outcomes and build productive relationships with stakeholders. You should also demonstrate excellent oral and written communication abilities, including drafting complex briefings and reports, and providing expert advice to senior management and government officials.
