Leadership Opportunity for Fund Services Expert
This is a high-profile role that provides a unique position incorporating unit pricing, fund accounting, tax and financial reporting services.
Key Responsibilities:
Full responsibility for fund accounting and tax services operations including working with senior stakeholders, clients, regulators and industry forums.
Actively managing a team of high-quality fund and tax accountants, including training, mentoring and ongoing feedback.
Ongoing stakeholder relationship management, involving regular interaction with clients, brokers, custodians, auditors and offshore service centres.
Partnering with the sales and business development teams to facilitate revenue growth.
Maintaining a fluid and efficient client on-boarding process with a keen eye for detail and service excellence.
Ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of both internal and external financial reporting, financial regulatory reporting, statutory reporting, and variance analysis.
Requirements:
Significant previous experience in a similar role in Australia with fund accounting and tax experience.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of Australian accounting standards / principles and taxation affecting asset owner & manager products, managed investments and superannuation funds.
Demonstrated success leading and developing a team.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
