As a key member of our Care Services team, you will play a hands-on role supporting participants in our Community Access Programme and in-home care services.The successful candidates will possess the experience to work with individuals with complex care needs.
Local applicants are preferred.Key DutiesMedication administrationHome Based Daily Living SupportTaking participants for appointments and other community participationBehavior observation and supportMeal preparation and shopping assistanceMaintaining a record of participant progressAssessing participants to determine continuing needsAssistance in building participant self-image and self-confidenceManual Handling of participantsAvailability to cover a range of shifts including sleepovers and weekendsWho We're Looking ForWe are seeking experienced, capable support workers.The successful candidates will have:Own vehicle for transport with comprehensive insuranceAbility to work varied shifts including short shiftsCertificate III or IV in Disability, Ageing or related industries highly regardedCurrent First Aid & CPR CertificateCurrent National Police ClearanceCurrent NT Unrestricted Driver's LicenseIf you are interested in working with Hands on People but do not meet these guidelines, please submit an EOI application to be considered for future roles.If you are values-driven and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others, we would love to hear from you
