**Job title**: Safety Trainer - Underground Mine Site

**Company**: Australian Mining Contractor

**Location**: 8:6 FIFO from Perth

**Salary**: Up to $165k + Super + Incentives

**Scope**: Substantial WA Mining Operations

**Core focus**:

- Demonstrate exceptional safety leadership in line with company values
- Help to further develop a strong safety culture across site
- Oversee and take part in safety investigations, risk assessments, corrective actions and supporting processes where applicable
- Provide input for health & safety training methods
- Provide advice and assistance to managers and supervisors on all HSE matters
- Review, improve and implement procedures for HSE management
- Complete safety investigations and reporting
- Identify HSE training needs for the operation

**Key Requirements**
- Operational Underground Mining Experience - Required
- Minimum of Cert IV in OHS
- Cert IV in Training and Assessing
- ICAM investigation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to liaise with all levels of the company
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise own workload and work unsupervised
- Ability to manage time and resources
