Our mindset fosters innovation and creates strong, lasting customer relationships as we strive to be the most customer-centric company in Australia and New Zealand.In this role you will join the Industrial Relations team that's doubling down on winning together.ResponsibilitiesDraw on substantial expertise in Industrial Relations and interpret complex Enterprise AgreementsPlay a critical role in payroll compliance and driving effective remediation processesCollaborate across departments with Legal teams to clarify and action compliance requirements, coordinate with Project Managers to ensure milestones are met, and engage with IT professionals to translate IR needs into technical solutionsDesign comprehensive testing regimes and robust review processes to ensure the payroll platform meets current obligations and remains resilient to future regulatory changesIdentify gaps, propose enhancements, and document outcomes to contribute to the integrity and success of the new systemCommit to best practice, compliance, and continuous improvement as a trusted partner in this transformative projectQualificationsConsiderable experience in industrial/employee relations with specialist expertise in employment lawHands-on payroll experience and detailed understanding of relevant legislative frameworks; proven track record implementing compliance measures in large organisationsExperience engaging with Unions and strong understanding of union priorities and practicesStrong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to present findings, explain regulatory considerations, and facilitate trainingTertiary qualification in Employee/Industrial Relations/Human Resources/Law or related disciplineA diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyone.
