Our Sydney office is on Kent Street - a short walk from Wynyard station and close to great cafes in Barangaroo.
- Luxury Escapes is an in-person company, with 4 days in the office, and 1-day WFH._

**About the team**

Our cross-functional teams include Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers focused on delivering solutions and solving problems rather than simply completing tickets. The structure is flat, and the process is lean, with a culture of MVP, iteration, and "build, measure, learn" at the heart of everything we do. We share in-depth experience in Node/Typescript, React, PostgreSQL, AWS SQS, SNS, S3 Lambda, and more.

**What you'll do**

You will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers, overseeing the development and delivery of software solutions, and ensuring that our technology infrastructure meets the needs of our business.
- At Luxury Escapes all engineers, regardless of level, have a desire to remain hands-on with their coding - so if you want an immersive environment where you can truly influence the success of a highly trafficked platform - this could be the role for you_

**Relevant skills**
- Proficiency in Proficiency in Node.js, Typescript, and React
- Solid knowledge of SQL (we use PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and implementation
- Automated testing and continuous integration
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in an agile team environment, continuously shipping environment
- Strong expertise in software architecture and design patterns, with a particular focus on micro-services.
