# What youll do
**Cultivate Community and Joy** - Bring the gardenand spiritsto life by helping our aged care residents with planting, weeding, watering, and organizing, while fostering cheerful engagement and shared experiences.
**Empower Participation and Planning** - Support hands-on involvement in gardening and assist in crafting planting scheduleschoosing what grows, when, and whereso everyone can take pride in the gardens development.
**Promote Safety, Respect, and Inclusion** - Create a welcoming space rooted in kindness, dignity, and choice; help maintain tidy and safe garden areas, and work thoughtfully with residents, staff, and volunteers.
