Overview Join to apply for the Media and Communications Advisor role at National Heavy Vehicle Regulator .
A great opportunity is now available for an experienced Media and Communications professional to hit the ground running in the NHVR's Corporate Affairs division.
This is a temporary position until September 2026, full-time, based in Newstead's Gasworks precinct (close to transport, cafes and end of trip facilities).
We are also willing to consider applicants based in Adelaide or Melbourne.
Being a communications role, there may be a requirement to undertake occasional on-call work outside of business hours.
Responsibilities Reporting to the Manager Media and Communications, the role balances internal and external responsibilities.
Internally, create CEO and executive communications and assist across NHVR's business areas with communications needs.
Externally, respond to media enquiries and produce media releases and media alerts, and create industry and local government e-newsletters.
Location and Work Arrangements Based in Newstead, Queensland, with a hybrid work environment and family-friendly team.
Occasional on-call work outside business hours may be required.
