Our client is seeking an assistant company secretary to provide support to the organisation and assist in maintaining corporate governance processes and policies to ensure smooth functioning of the Board and Committees.

This not for profit is a fantastic community support network for all members of the public offering care to senior members of the community.

**The Position**

The role reports into the Company Secretary, and will see your working closely with Executive Leadership, Board Members, Committee Chairs, and Directors and you will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Attending committee meetings and AGM's;
- Optimising relationships between the Boards, Committees and management;
- Preparing calendars setting out meeting times, locations and the yearly program;
- Filing and managing information, policies, papers minutes and other relevant information; and
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the Boards and Committees.

**About You**

You will hold qualifications from the Governance Institute and have an expertise in governance, Board operations, and general management in organisations of comparable scale. You will also have:

- Demonstrated strong leadership, particularly the ability to influence those outside direct management responsibility or sphere of influence;
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; and
- Experience in preparing complex reports suitable for Board decision-making.
