Patient Administration Officer - Full Time
Far North Day Hospital is an organisation where every voice counts, every employee is valued and where every patient matters.
An opportunity exists for an outstanding Patient Administration Officer to provide high-level administrative support to patients and members of the clinical and non-clinical teams. The role is based within the Front Office team and requires excellent customer service and attention to detail.
Your role will include but is not limited to greeting and directing visitors of the hospital, admitting patients to the day surgery and Oncology Unit, document preparation, patient bookings, taking telephone enquiries and liaising with members of the multidisciplinary team.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Impeccable personal presentation and attention to detail
Outstanding time management and organisational skills including the ability to take initiative, application of problem-solving, and capability in decision making.
Exceptional knowledge and application of customer service principles
Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite
This position of (38 hours per week) will require the successful candidate to be available for work between 06:30 AM to 06:30 PM Monday to Friday.
