Our Federal Government client is seeking a
**SOPs Officer **who can prepare high-quality standard Operating Procedure (SOPs).

**About the role**:

- Draft documentation
- Test Standard Operating Procedures
- Attend meetings, from time to time, as required

**SOPs Officer is required to create Finance SOPs that are**:

- Are user friendly, that can be followed with no experience
- Support the accurate payment of staff salaries
- In line with legislation, delegations, policy and instruments
- Include touch points and impacts on other teams
- Prepare SOPs with correct language, use of formatting, and clear action steps

**SOPs Officer is required to create payroll SOPs that include**:

- Background information
- Aurion processing
- Calculation guidance
- Legislation including interpretation
- External payroll processing, including portals and forms ie. Comcare, Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation, QuickSuper

**Ideally, you will have**:

- Knowledge and experience in payroll, to review, update or create payroll SOPs
- Experience updating and/or creating finance related SOPs across a range of systems and functions
- Excellent written skills
