Site Construction Manager - Solar
The client Enemix are closely supporting at this time is a market leader in the development, construction and ownership of Utility Scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage projects with a proven record in the Victoria region. Due to growth in the project pipeline they are looking for an experienced Construction Manager with a civil background to join their expanding team and lead delivery of a new grid connected solar project.
This role will focus on the execution phase of projects, starting from preparing the civil scope for construction, mobilization of site and managing the construction & installation.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the onsite EPC/Construction team including contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure HSE standards, cost and quality standards are met.
Support the Project Manager and wider team in planning, organising and coordinating site activities, reporting issues and developing suitable solutions.
Quality check of delivered items from both internal and third-party sources, ensuring installation standards are achieved.
Focus across the civil discipline of a utility scale solar project, ensuring full compliance with Australian standards.
Ensure compliance with HSE standards and safe execution of work.
Your Background
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil) - Relevant experience can substitute formal education for this role.
Proven experience in construction management, preferably within the energy sector and within a civil focus.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Valid Australian driver's license.
Self-motivated, able to work remotely and independently within a collaborative environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and diligent approach.
Ability to balance quality, time, and cost pressures effectively.
