**Job Role Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team. As a key member of our residential construction division, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of housing builds across multiple locations.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will coordinate and schedule the delivery of housing builds meeting expected build timeframes within contract specifications, quality, and safety requirements.

You will work closely with the project team, site managers, and trade contractors to ensure timely completion of deliveries while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate, track, and manage construction work in progress from acceptance to practical completion across retail and project housing.
  • Liaise with the Senior Manager to identify and resolve site issues and propose opportunities for improvement through the construction process.
  • Collaborate with the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize scheduling and budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate scheduling risks to maintain build timelines.
  • Provide regular progress updates, schedule analysis, and forecast reports.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in a residential construction environment (preferably volume housing) with an understanding of on-site construction methods and processes.

Key qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated project management experience utilizing data, systems, and processes to drive on-site outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, technical construction detailing, and complex construction material integration.
  • Able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and build positive relationships.
  • Tertiary qualifications in the construction field will be highly regarded.
