Job Overview
As a senior leader in the events industry, we seek an experienced Exhibition Director to drive the sales and delivery of our flagship Home Shows in Melbourne and Sydney.
The successful candidate will lead a high-performing sales team, striving for excellence in revenue growth, exhibitor retention, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans to boost sales performance and enhance exhibitor experience.
Implement structured sales processes, pipeline management, and performance reviews to optimize results.
Provide expert training and coaching to uplift capability across the sales team, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
Oversee exhibition operations, including floorplans, stand allocations, and onsite delivery to ensure a premium experience.
Act as a senior point of contact for key exhibitors, fostering long-term commercial partnerships that drive mutual success.
Collaborate with the leadership team to set event strategy and contribute to business growth.
Work closely with marketing and operations teams to maximize exhibitor ROI and deliver innovative show features.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, budgets, and reporting to guarantee the commercial success of our flagship events.
Requirements:
Proven track record in driving revenue growth in exhibitions, expos, or large-scale events, with a strong focus on sales leadership and team development.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and people-development skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing sales team.
Strong commercial acumen, with a proven ability to set and achieve ambitious sales targets.
Highly organized, resilient, and proactive, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
A collaborative team player who embodies our company values and culture.
A car and current driver's license (essential) for occasional site visits and meetings.
CRM experience, preferably with Salesforce or Zoho, to streamline sales processes and data analysis.
