Penrith and Districts Junior Rugby League Club Ltd have an exciting and rare opportunity for a dedicated League Manager to join their busy team.

Reporting to the Junior League Board and working closely with Penrith Panthers Rugby League, you will be responsible for the implementation of the Junior League Strategic Plan to ensure success of the Junior League programs. Managing a team of 3, this role will control and manage the financial and administration of the Penrith & Districts Junior Rugby League. The role will entail managing and overseeing all Junior League activities, competitions and functions and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective corporate governance.

**Your Main Duties and Responsibilities include**:

- Oversight of Saturday, Sunday and Final series competitions.
- Registration of players, officials & ensure all officials have a current & valid Working with Children Check;
- Ensure the Junior League rules, regulations, by-laws & policies are updated and in compliance with Rugby League governance;
- Manage all aspects of the Junior League financials including the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget, annual audits, financial reporting, overseeing sponsorship agreements and the authorisation and payment of accounts;
- Maintain and enforce a positive and collaborative culture and build rapport with existing and new stakeholders to enhance the relationships across the game and as representation of NSW Rugby League;
- Overseeing the management function of the Junior League office staff.
- Liaise and communicate with all 24 Junior League clubs including agenda, minutes, financials follow up of Committee and Board of Management decisions;
- Report regularly to and keep the Junior League Board informed of developments;
- Represent Junior League on various subcommittees including NSWRL, NRL and local government bodies;
- Liaise and work with the Penrith District Referees' Association

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Strong stakeholder and conflict resolution skills;
- Financial management and commercial competency;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent time management, business management and leadership skills;
- Ability to negotiate at all levels including players, families, Junior League, Panthers Rugby League and NSWRL officials;
- Current Working with Children Check;
- Knowledge of MySideline or similar sporting databases would be an advantage and;
- Previous experience and knowledge of Junior League Rules and Regulations would be advantageous.

Typically working Monday to Friday, this role will require flexibility to work weekends, nights and special events and after hours as and when required of the role.
