Panthers Game Day Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the high-quality delivery and execution of all Panthers game days. Reporting to the Rugby League CEO, this role will drive continual improvement to the game day experience to ensure an exceptional experience for our members and guests. The role will also entail an element of community involvement with a strong focus on community engagement and growth of the local community programs.

**Your main duties and responsibilities will include, however are not limited to**:

- Facilities Management for BlueBet Stadium and Panthers Rugby League Academy;
- Oversee and manage the operational planning and execution of all Panthers home game days;
- Ensure WHS obligations are met for patrons and staff, including perform risk assessments, security management plans are in place and obtain relevant insurance paperwork;
- Liaise with travelling NRL teams' football operations to arrange logístical support;
- Maintain positive relationships and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations and key game day and event deliverables are met;
- Preparing budgets, monitoring financial information and making decisions regarding necessary corrective action;
- Management of the Game Day Events staff and contractors;
- Consistent review and implementation of game day operational processes to ensure ongoing efficiency and growth;
- Assistance in the development and implementation of the Community Strategic Plan for Panthers with a focus on community engagement;
- Identify revenue and funding opportunities within the existing Government and Corporate sectors for potential community programs;
- Lead and implement community events and all related community and charity/causes rounds across the NRL season;
- Support and assist in developing and driving program outcomes across schools, junior football indigenous and diversity and;
- Manage the player appearances process.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess the following**:

- 3 -5 years' experience in Events or Operations Management position in a medium to large organisation, preferably within the sporting industry;
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong time management, organisational and attention to detail skills;
- Experience with budgeting and cost control management and;
- Knowledge and understanding of NRL.

The role required for you to be available events, game days and any other nights or weekends as and when required of the role.
