Junior Rugby League Coordinator Position

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with the aim of delivering exceptional results in junior rugby league management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of junior rugby league, including administrative and operational requirements. This will involve managing online platforms, collaborating with stakeholders, and promoting competition rules.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate junior rugby league competitions, including registrations, draws, and communication.
  • Manage online platforms, such as MySideline, e-newsletters, and websites.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Junior League Executives, Junior Clubs, and competition officials.
  • Liaise with local stakeholders to promote junior rugby league.
  • Support the Board and CCC as required.
  • Coordinate events and administration officer day-to-day tasks.
  • Take minutes from board/general meetings when required.
  • Attend stakeholder meetings with the Junior League General Manager.
  • Manage bookkeeping, including maintaining financial reports and balancing books.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Competency in Windows, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Knowledge of junior rugby league is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Mysideline would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience working with volunteers is highly regarded.

Working Conditions:

This role requires flexibility to work weekends, nights, and special events as required.
