**About the role**

The purpose of the Compliance Framework and Policies Manager role is to work together with the Senior Manager Compliance Reporting & Governance and in partnership with the compliance team to strengthen and enhance the compliance management framework and associated elements.

The role is primarily responsible for compliance framework and policies which includes, but is not limited to:

- Supporting the maintenance of the compliance management framework in alignment with Head Office and regional RANZ requirements.
- In partnership with the broader compliance team areas, reviewing and updating framework-related policies, standards and procedures.
- Tracking and monitoring upcoming policy and standard review cycles.
- Working with the specialist framework areas and broader compliance team to ensure that policies and standards are updated in a timely manner.
- Creating a consistent process, templates and approach to respond to and manage changes in policies and standards.
- Supporting the compliance team and business with implementing and embedding the key compliance framework elements in alignment with the overall compliance management framework.
- Supporting good governance practices.
- Ensuring key global and local compliance policies and standards are available on the intranet for staff.
- Supporting internal audit, head office and external audit framework reviews, as required.

**What we are looking for**
- Proven experience in banking environment, specifically with experience in risk and compliance governance, frameworks and policies.
- Knowledge of retail and/or wholesale banking.
- Exposure across different risk disciplines.
- Knowledge of key tools and methodologies to support project management, productivity and change management.
- Knowledge of risk and compliance management frameworks.
- Knowledge of compliance obligations across a broad range of topics privacy, treating customers fairly, competition, market abuse, anti-corruption, conflicts of interest and financial economic crime.
- Knowledge of the current regulatory environment in Australia and New Zealand as well as an awareness of key global trends and issues.
- Knowledge of enterprise risk management systems (Archer desirable).
