Our business is growing, and we are looking for an experienced and driven Procurement Manager to join our team.
This role is all about building strong partnerships with suppliers and trades and working closely with Project Managers, Estimators and Site Supervisors to develop and implement procurement strategies.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers, while building and maintaining strong long-term relationships.
Identify opportunities to optimise the supply chain and strengthen our competitive advantage.
Work closely with project managers, estimators, and site supervisors to forecast needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Manage vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance for reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
Review supplier agreements to ensure they meet or exceed our standards for cost, innovation, service, quality, and safety.
Identify risks in supply availability and implement mitigation strategies.
Research and introduce new products and materials to enhance our projects.
About You
You'll bring proven experience in procurement within the building industry, along with:
A deep understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
Excellent negotiation, contract management, and cost-analysis skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
A proactive approach and passion for achieving great outcomes.
