We are working on behalf of our client a medical supplier based in Villawood (NSW) to fill a Permanent Transport and Fleet Manager Position.

You will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials between different locations, as well as ensuring the proper maintenance and operation of the transport fleet. This includes maintaining accurate records of transport activities and expenses and following all safety and regulatory requirements.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Managing a fleet and team of drivers.
- Load and unload goods and materials onto the transport vehicle
- Inspections of vehicles
- Liaise with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure that transport needs are met, and issues are resolved.
- Adhering to (COR) requirements relating to operations.
- Plan and execute transport routes and schedules, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in the most efficient manner possible.
- Prepare management reports about the fleet performance

**Essential Requirements**:

- Heavy vehicle driver's license with min HR endorsement and a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of transport regulations
- Extensive experience with transport management systems (TMS)
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 15 Kg for extended periods of time.
