Are you ready to take charge of keeping workplaces safe, efficient, and running like clockwork? At the **National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR)**, we're looking for a **Facilities Coordinator** who's passionate about creating high-performing work environments. You'll work closely with the National Facilities Lead to ensure our facilities across the country are well-maintained, compliant, and ready to support our critical operations. This role is permanent and will be based out of the Parramatta office.

This is more than just maintenance—it's about impact, reliability, and making sure every site supports our mission to keep Australia's roads safe and efficient.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Coordinate short, medium, and long-term maintenance across our national sites. You'll prepare reports and briefing notes that help shape smarter decisions
- Conduct regular audits to ensure our spaces meet top health, safety, and environmental standards—and foster a culture of care and compliance
- Partner with external providers to make sure repairs and maintenance happen on time, every time—minimising disruption across the board
- Take the lead on smaller-scale facilities projects, making sure they're completed on schedule and within budget
- You're great with people and can build strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and teams across the organisation
- You care about creating great work environments and are committed to service excellence
- A natural problem-solver with excellent time management skills, you're comfortable juggling multiple tasks without losing focus
- You've got experience managing maintenance and delivering minor projects across a diverse and geographically spread portfolio
- You understand building codes, safety legislation, and compliance requirements like the back of your hand

**About you**
- Ideally 5 year's experience working in facilities coordination or a similar role
- A proven track record in regulated environments, with strong knowledge of maintenance and project delivery
