**About the role**:
As a Brand Designer, you will be eager to realise our marketing mission. You'll be part of a design centre of excellence that brings brand and customer experiences to life across Retail and the wider enterprise. You'll embody our culture of freedom and responsibility and use that mindset to design and deliver content and communications that result in outrageously good customer experiences that grow share and value for Origin.

**This opportunity is a 12 month fixed term contract.**

**Why this role matters**:

- Produce creative, compelling and distinct design solutions with a key focus on graphic and visual assets. You'll be able to consider content and communications strategies and journeys and have an appetite to stretch into new skills.
- Maintain Origin brand guidelines and brand voice and act as one of the key Brand Guardians to ensure our Brand Identity is applied consistently across all touchpoints and executions.
- Develop work for a wide range of mediums and purposes (including acquisition or lifecycle communications, brand work, employee engagement, stakeholder management, external affairs and more).

**What wil your bring?**
- 5+ years experience in dedicated design roles
- A tertiary qualification or industry experience in digital design, visual design, communications or similar
- A portfolio of work demonstrating strong conceptual ability and a high level of craft as a designer, including a broad range of media, channels and messages.
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and across multiple projects simultaneously

Depending on your area of expertise, you should have expert / emerging skills across
- Adobe CC suite, including Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Experienced in illustration, animation and video editing
- Experience art directing photo shoots and working closely with photographers, videographers and retouchers
- Process and communication tools like Asana, Slack, Miro, Confluence, GSuite, Figma and Monday
- Knowledge of XHTML, CSS and Wordpress for web page and eDM builds
- Experience working with Motion/HTML5 to produce digital display assets is highly desirable.
