We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Design Assistant to join our Fashion Apparel team.If you love textiles, prints, and bringing creative ideas to life, this is your chance to grow in a supportive and inspiring environment.What You'll Be DoingAs our Design Assistant, you'll support the team with both creative and administrative tasks, including:Production & Sample Management:Communicate changes internally, keeping the change register updatedAssist with lap dip process for fabrics to ensure accurate color matchingAssist with print strike-off requests, ensuring high-quality print approvalsManage samples arriving from suppliers, salesmen, and for photoshootsOrganize and track marketing samples for campaigns and e-commerce shootsKeep showroom and sample areas organized and up to dateCreative & Design Support:Assist the design team from concept to final productCreate technical flat drawings and specification sheetsWork on print repeats and textile designs aligning with Black Pepper's brand identityStay ahead of fashion trends and provide inspiration for new collectionsAdministrative & Logistics Support:Prepare and send parcels to China, ensuring smooth logisticsMaintain organized and current filesEnsure CAD updates are completed accurately and on timeSupport additional design projects and admin tasks as neededWhat You'll Bring to the RoleFormal qualification in Fashion Design (preferred but not essential)Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & PhotoshopExperience in a similar fashion or retail design roleA keen eye for textiles, garment construction, and product developmentStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesBasic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and OutlookExcellent communication skills and team collaboration abilityProactive attitude with problem-solving skillsTeam player with a positive mindsetPerks We OfferGenerous discounts across Brand Collective's brands, including Reebok, Superdry, Clarks, Review, Hush Puppies, Umbro, Elka Collective, Black Pepper, and moreAdditional discounts within LK Group brands like Daniel's Donuts, Hommey, Snooze, and othersPet-friendly workspaceInvitations to sample salesPaid parental, volunteer, and purchased leaveEmployee Assistance Program with free mental health supportAnd more
