About the Role

As we transition our business towards the future and adapt to overcome continual challenges, this newly created Procurement Analyst, will primarily focus on procurement, purchasing and contract analytics providing advice to our broader Senior Leadership Team on value-add opportunities. It's an exciting time to join us as we redesign our procurement function and build a strong operational team to deliver on opportunity and growth.

This permanent, full-time role is based on site at AGL Macquarie in the Hunter Valley, NSW. Hybrid work arrangements can be considered.

About You

A strong communicator passionate about achieving positive outcomes you will bring advanced skills in extracting and interpreting diverse data and information to identify key opportunities to support strategy development and deliver continuous improvements and transformation projects for the Commercial & Services Team and wider business.

Your experience and capability to build compelling business cases and value propositions will be crucial to the ongoing growth and success of the business. Likewise, your ability to champion and influence positive change will make you a key player within a business undertaking significant transformation.

You will, amongst other things:
- Identify Procurement and Business improvement opportunities- Support strategy development and long-term business and planning- Monitor and report on procurement and business performance- Advise and develop new processes and procedures to enhance operations- Prepare reports for the Commercial Services and leadership team- Development of business cases for improvement opportunity and investment
