Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for logistics and procurement? Penske Australia is looking for a talented individual to join our Defence Programmes Group as an Inventory Planner and Procurement Analyst. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive efficiency, optimise inventory management and make a real impact in a dynamic and supportive work environment.

**Some of your tasks will be**:

- **Managing inventory planning, ordering, and distribution** to support maintenance activities and asset overhauls for our Commonwealth clients.
- Coordinate updates to **Bill of Materials** (BoM) data and **ensure compliance** with supply support requirements.
- Analyse supply chain **logistics efficiencies** and identify **improvement opportunities**.
- Coordinate stocking and location of **strategic spare parts**.
- Assist in stock and **obsolescence management** of inventory items.
- Provide administrative support to the Defence Programmes Group as required.
- **Liaise with Supervisor and Defence customers** as required to ensure that logistic requirements are adequately defined and catered for.

**About you**:

- Minimum of **2 years**' experience in Supply Chain Logistics Operations.
- Experience with Commercial/Defence Logistics IT Systems (e.g. **MILIS**).
- An understanding of **ITAR and German Government Export Control** regulations.
- **Strong communication skills**, written and verbal, with a **knack for building personal** **connections.**:

- **Analytical **mind with an eye for detail,
- Thorough attention to detail with the ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.
- Microsoft Excel and Data Base skills to an intermediate level.
