- Relevant experience in hotel receiving & stores is highly advantageous.

- Receive, unload, and process deliveries, ensuring compliance with invoices and purchase orders as per Marriott Policy.
- Check all deliveries for official purchase order numbers and accompanying invoices or delivery dockets for compliant 3-way matching.
- Appropriately label received goods and distribute them to the relevant department.
- Monitor the timeliness and quality of incoming goods, and follow up with suppliers for any discrepancies or quality issues.
- Resolve discrepancies between ordered goods, invoices, and received items; manage supplier delivery issues and oversee the return process.
- Send orders daily through Birch Street for timely delivery.
- Track received inventory and complete inventory reports in Birch Street.
- Inform the departmental Talent Coach about low stock levels promptly.
- Assist with monthly stock takes and liaise with other departments to understand their needs.
- Post invoices and generate purchase orders for the receiver to match against upon delivery.
- Process and enter invoices daily into the Birch Street system.
- Communicate with management regarding any loss or damage to packages.
