An exciting opportunity exists to join Brandbank as a Senior Retoucher.
We're on the lookout for a Senior Retoucher to join our fast-paced, collaborative studio team.
Reporting to the Group Studio Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering high-end retouching across e-Commerce, EDM, and campaign imagery.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a talented creative team and make a real impact on how Brandbank is visually represented across platforms.
THE ROLE:
Overseeing retouching of a high volume of monthly assets for eComm, EDM, and campaigns.
Providing detailed briefs to offshore teams, including colour correction and fabric/skin notes.
Managing the end-to-end retouching workflow and timelines.
Ensuring final images meet brand guidelines and technical specifications.
Maintaining consistency across product, fashion, and lifestyle imagery.
Collaborating with photographers, stylists, art directors, and creatives to bring concepts to life.
Organising files with clear naming conventions and layer structures.
Assisting in updating retouching guidelines and workflow documentation.
Staying up to date with industry trends and tools.
Based on-site, 5 days per week at our St Kilda Road Offices.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
5+ years' experience in professional retouching, ideally within retail fashion.
A Graphic Design qualification would be highly regarded but not essential.
Expert in Adobe Photoshop, with proficient knowledge of Lightroom, Capture One, or Bridge.
Prior experience in high-volume image retouching.
Strong grasp of colour theory, lighting, skin retouching, and texture preservation.
Skilled in handling RAW files and layered PSDs.
Strong visual eye, attention to detail, and ability to take feedback.
Aesthetic eye for fashion imagery.
Creative problem-solver with a proactive mindset.
Passion for photography, design, and fashion.
A sharp eye for detail and visual consistency.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
