Senior Retoucher

An exciting opportunity exists to join Brandbank as a Senior Retoucher.

We're on the lookout for a Senior Retoucher to join our fast-paced, collaborative studio team. Reporting to the Group Studio Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering high-end retouching across e-Commerce, EDM, and campaign imagery.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a talented creative team and make a real impact on how Brandbank is visually represented across platforms.

THE ROLE:

• Overseeing retouching of a high volume of monthly assets for eComm, EDM, and campaigns.
• Providing detailed briefs to offshore teams, including colour correction and fabric/skin notes.
• Managing the end-to-end retouching workflow and timelines.
• Ensuring final images meet brand guidelines and technical specifications.
• Maintaining consistency across product, fashion, and lifestyle imagery.
• Collaborating with photographers, stylists, art directors, and creatives to bring concepts to life.
• Organising files with clear naming conventions and layer structures.
• Assisting in updating retouching guidelines and workflow documentation.
• Staying up to date with industry trends and tools.
• Based on-site, 5 days per week at our St Kilda Road Offices.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 5+ years' experience in professional retouching, ideally within retail fashion.
• A Graphic Design qualification would be highly regarded but not essential.
• Expert in Adobe Photoshop, with proficient knowledge of Lightroom, Capture One, or Bridge.
• Prior experience in high-volume image retouching.
• Strong grasp of colour theory, lighting, skin retouching, and texture preservation.
• Skilled in handling RAW files and layered PSDs.
• Strong visual eye, attention to detail, and ability to take feedback.
• Aesthetic eye for fashion imagery.
• Creative problem-solver with a proactive mindset.
• Passion for photography, design, and fashion.
• A sharp eye for detail and visual consistency.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
