As a Network Technician, you'll work on the development of network solutions, and will be responsible for the build, installation, configuration and deployment of network systems. This role provides a significant contribution to enhancing overall capacity to meet the information technology needs of the program.
To succeed in this endeavour, you will:
- Design, build, deploy and support complex network solutions.
- Complete and review all associated network documentation.
- Provide Network SME advice to the customer, and internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project definition, system architecture and process improvement.
- Create Knowledge Articles (KA's) on key processes, network devices and systems that can be used across the service desk and wider community of IT support staff.
- Identify innovative service improvements that provide additional value to network solutions.
- Provide training and support to customer and project team.

Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) security clearance
- Ability to work independently and part of an integrated cross functional team
- Good communication, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
We're also looking for experience with:
- Networking technologies including: Routing, Switching, Next Gen Firewalls, Voice Over IP, Enterprise Wireless LAN infrastructure, Network Segmentation and Flow Control.
- Networking protocols including: BGP, Interior Gateway Protocols, MPLS, Segment Routing, IPSEC, TLS, SSL VPN's and DMVPN's, IPV6.
- Practical knowledge of: HCI, virtualisation and virtual networks, Citrix NetScaler, API/Scripting in REST, Python, Bash and PowerShell
