Electricity Network Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team in constructing, servicing and maintaining the ACT's electricity network. As part of our crew, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our distribution network.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position that requires the installation, alteration and maintenance of our distribution network for customer requested servicing works. You will be responsible for connecting and disconnecting supply, constructing and maintaining overhead and underground electricity networks, as well as servicing substations.

You will also be required to respond to faults and rectify issues in a timely manner. Your work will involve working at heights, navigating complex terrain and operating heavy machinery.

Requirements
  • Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead
  • Current ACT motor vehicle licence (MR) or its acceptable equivalent
  • High Risk licence EWP
  • Previous successful work in field on construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure
