**What you will do**
As part of the Group Trucks Purchasing team, which sits under the broader Volvo Group Australia umbrella, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Contributing to segment strategies and be an active member in the global network of commodity buyers
- Ensuring supplier selection is aligned with the business strategy
- Ensuring sourcing is completed within the appropriate contractual package and all agreements are approved / signed
- Executing agreements with suppliers during and after production
- Monitoring, identifying and mitigating procurement risks
- Forecasting cost evolutions for scope of responsibility
- Performing daily purchasing activities related to production orders, logistics and financial flows to suppliers

- A Procurement / Business / or Technical degree
- Previous experience working in a commercial procurement role
- Proven experience working in project management, change managed or process management within a procurement role
- Experience with cost management and financial analysis
- A solid understanding of production and supply chain processes
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
