Project Procurement Specialist roles are pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of projects. This position at a leading transportation solutions company is a great opportunity to grow your career.

The Project Buyer will lead the full supplier selection process and collaborate with the Procurement Manager to deploy commodities strategy for the project. The goal is to execute procurement activities in line with Quality, Cost Delivery & Technical (QCDT) objectives, while supporting supplier Panel relationships (Supplier workload, negotiation, Specific agreement).

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and launch Request for Quotation with suppliers
- Lead project negotiations
- Monitor Procurement project QCDT & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development)
- Consolidate commodity needs and inputs
- Participate actively in commodity strategy and panel elaboration
- Provide input to build differentiation
- Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances)
- Measure supplier performance and develop them in coordination with supplier Quality Team
- Assess all risky suppliers and manage associated mitigation plan

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Procurement with relevant background in sourcing.
- Industry experience in similar role within Rail, Manufacturing or Automotive is preferred.
- Experience working in cross-functional organisation, within project scope is advantageous.
- Good communication skills.
