We are undergoing an exciting period of growth and expansion and are expanding to Brisbane with a brand-new Fine Dining Restaurant "**TAMA**" opening inside of a Heritage listed building in the centre of Fortitude Valley.
This new contemporary dining venue is going to be led by award winning duo **Alan Hunter** and **Richard Ousby**.
**Alan Hunter** is renowned sommelier and ex-General Manager of OTTO Brisbane who has joined Artesian Hospitality as a Partner and Director of Restaurant Operations. Under Hunter's prior leadership at OTTO the restaurant was awarded Wine List of the Year and Two Hats in the Good Food Guide in 2019.
**Richard Ousby** is internationally recognised chef who is taking the lead within the new dining venue as Executive Chef. Richard gained experience in England at Michelin 3-star restaurant, Waterside Inn, as well as working under celebrity restaurateur Peter Gilmore as his Sous Chef at Quay Restaurant, Sydney. Richard is well-known on Brisbane's scene as Executive Chef at Stokehouse restaurant, overseeing its Melbourne establishment as well.
**The Role**:
**This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a minimum of two years' experience in a fine dining dispense based restaurant.**
- **_This position can be also based as a casual employment (25+ hours per week)._**
**The Responsibilities**:
- Ensure all staff follow service standards and protocols. Ensure RSA and liquor licensing regulations are being adhered to across the venue.
- Plan, hire, train, oversee and manage the members of staff.
- Creating and enforcing venue policies, targets and KPI's.
- Assist with rostering as required and ensure staffing levels and monitored to ensure staff budget costs are not unnecessarily exceeded.
- Oversee staff and ensure disciplinary action is taken and documented if company policies and procedures are not adhered to.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure smooth delivery.
**The Skills**:
- 3+ years' experience in relevant supervisor role in a high-volume venue.
- Ability to generate revenue building ideas throughout all aspects of the business.
- Have a financial understanding of wage costing.
- Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss.
- Ability to assist with creating an effective roster for all the staff.
- High computer literacy
- Strong conflict resolution ability
- A passion for the hospitality industry with an interest in further learning and development
