Maeve Wine Bar in South Brisbane is looking for a bartender / bar supervisor to join their small front of house team.

We are a busy wine-focused venue currently open Tuesday - Thursday from 4pm and Friday/Saturday for lunch and dinner.

The position is full time with a 5 day work week - Tuesday to Saturday with 1 Saturday double. We can offer career progression and training for the right person.

We are looking for a supervisor with the following experience/qualities:

- Plenty of experience as a section waiter who can easily hold down a busy, demanding section
- Cocktail Creation: Prepare a wide range of classic and signature cocktails with flair and precision
- Fine dining experience is helpful
- management experience is helpful
- works well as a team and is respectful of colleagues
- enjoys a fun, fast-paced atmosphere
- enjoys interactions with guests and customer service in general
- has a friendly, welcoming demeanor
- has a base knowledge of wines - bar and cocktail experience
- Stock ordering and organization

We are looking for someone to run a section, supervise the venue when the manager is absent, set up and close the venue, talk to guests confidently and informatively about wine, keep up to date on the ever-changing wine list, and represent Maeve in a friendly and professional manner.
