**The Role**

You will drive the design, on-going maintenance and monitoring of the organisation wide compliance management strategy, frameworks and compliance risk management practices related to Internal and External Fraud, Bribery and Corruption, Modern Slavery, Sanctions, Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing (ML/TF) risks (Financial Crime).

You will lead a team of professionals to advise, strengthen, and oversee financial crime risk and compliance management practices and maturity across Suncorp.

**What you'll do**
- Lead the ongoing development, delivery and maintenance of financial crime strategy, policies, standards and risk appetite
- Contribute to the oversight strategy and create and execute an oversight plan for Financial Crime compliance risk management across financial crime frameworks, business risk profiles and compliance plans
- Provide an independent view of the 'health' of Financial Crime compliance management practices across the organisation using Suncorp's tools and control plans
- Lead enterprise wide Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Fraud and ML/TF risk assessments and identify actions to enhance compliance and risk management practices
- Lead the identification and mitigation of emerging financial crime risks by maintaining knowledge and understanding of relevant industry and global trends
- Lead the development and delivery of training programs on financial crime compliance to ensure employees are aware of compliance requirements and best practices
