Lead Financial Crime Strategy and Risk Management Specialist

The role requires a subject matter expert in financial crime risk management to drive the design, maintenance, and monitoring of compliance management strategy, frameworks, and risk management practices related to internal and external fraud, bribery, corruption, modern slavery, sanctions, money laundering, and terrorism financing risks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, delivering, and maintaining financial crime strategy, policies, standards, and risk appetite
  • Oversight of financial crime risk and compliance management practices and maturity across the organization
  • Contribution to the oversight strategy and creation of an oversight plan for financial crime compliance risk management across financial crime frameworks, business risk profiles, and compliance plans
  • Independent review of the 'health' of financial crime compliance management practices using organizational tools and control plans
  • Enterprise-wide Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Fraud, and ML/TF risk assessments and identification of actions to enhance compliance and risk management practices
  • Identification and mitigation of emerging financial crime risks by maintaining knowledge and understanding of relevant industry and global trends
  • Development and delivery of training programs on financial crime compliance to ensure employees are aware of compliance requirements and best practices

Requirements include:

  • Extensive experience in financial crime risk management and investigations
  • Proven experience in developing and leading large-scale projects across multiple senior stakeholders
