Let's do this. Let's change the world. Due to an internal secondment, a rare opportunity has arisen to join our Strategic Account Management Team. In this role, you'll develop and manage strategic alliances in select accounts to maximise the long-term profitability of Amgen brands. Maintain optimal access and engagement, proactively providing strategic solutions by delivering a compelling customer value proposition and utilising systematic and coordinated processes. You will be joining an established, experienced and innovative account management team with a clear track record of customer value creation and commercial success. This is a 12-month contract role and repots to the Strategic Accounts Manager Lead.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Achieve strategic objectives and sales expectations by developing and driving optimal commercial solutions at the account, network or State level- Develop and foster relationships with public and private hospitals/groups, pharmacy providers, purchasing organizations and clinicians- Understand and leverage customer insights and patient journey perspectives to prioritise and deliver on best opportunities- Develop and maintain deep technical and commercial knowledge of products, markets, competition and stakeholders- Own, facilitate responses and monitor progress to State/Territory and individual account Requests for Tender in conjunction with the Pricing and Contracts Associate- Monitor progress of all contractual obligations and conduct regular review discussions with account personnel to maximise outcomes

- Tertiary qualification in life sciences or the equivalent combination of education and experience- Strategic Account Management or business development experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred- Minimum of 3 years of Pharmaceutical senior sales responsibility/Key Account Management is essential- Proven track record of success developing and executing strategic account planning and business analytics- Understanding of the Healthcare and reimbursement system (state and hospital environment) and pharmaceutical supply chains/distribution channels- Pharmaco-economic modelling and the cost/benefit impact on business results-
- Work Rights and Residency in Australia Mandatory_
