Based in Darwin with travel to East Arnhem Land and its biodiverse, unspoiled tropical coast.
Responsibilities
Lead a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, including dietitians, oral and eye health coordinators, and visiting specialists.
Develop and deliver innovative and integrated services that meet community needs.
Shape programs, drive quality improvements, and secure new funding to expand services.
Build genuine partnerships with communities and stakeholders and empower your team to grow.
What's in it for you?
Competitive salary of $111,217 to $131,506 per annum + 12% superannuation
Salary Package up to $15,900 + additional $2,650 on Meals and Entertainment

About Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation
Miwatj Health is an independent Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Service. Established in 1992, we're committed to providing quality services across East Arnhem Land and enabling Yol?u powered community health and wellbeing. Miwatj provides culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary and public health for over 6,000 residents of this remote landscape. With a Head Office in Nhulunbuy, and a Corporate Office in Darwin, our delivery is focused on 7 health centres across East Arnhem Land and dedicated outreach teams who travel to additional locations.
What we're looking for in you
We're looking for a values-driven leader who is passionate about Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination, and who understands the unique challenges and strengths of Yol?u communities in remote settings. You will bring proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams, with strong skills in identifying service gaps, developing innovative grant proposals, and driving effective program planning and evaluation. Success in this role will come from your ability to build genuine relationships, communicate effectively across cultures, and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. A willingness to travel throughout the region, together with a current NT driver's licence and NT OCHRE card, will ensure you can truly connect with and support our communities.
