W Brisbane located at 81 N Quay, Brisbane City QLD 4000 is hiring a Full Time Demi Chef.
As a Demi Chef in a luxury hotel, you will have the opportunity to uphold the exceptional culinary standards expected in a premium hospitality setting.
Responsibilities include: Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklists Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring consistent food quality, efficient service, and smooth kitchen operations Support the senior chefs by ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation while upholding all hygiene, food safety, and sanitation protocols Contribute to mentoring and guiding junior chefs and kitchen team members as needed Ensure the work station is organized, restocked and adhering to hygiene and safety standards The best hotel training opportunities produced independently by W Brisbane and internationally recognized training programs by Marriott International.
