About Us:
Nestled in the heart of Dent Island, Hamilton Island Golf Club offers a premier golfing experience complemented by a sophisticated clubhouse. Our members and guests enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, world-class service, and delicious cuisine prepared by a talented team. We're looking for a Chef de Partie to join us and play an essential role in our culinary operations.

Your Role:
As a Demi Chefe, you will be responsible for overseeing a section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and consistency. You'll work closely with the Chef de Partie and kitchen team to create dishes that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes to meet the clubhouse's quality standards.
  • Manage a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, pastry, sauces).
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of your designated section.
  • Support the Chef de partie in, food preparation, and special events.
  • Assist with food preparation and stock inventory
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Demi Chef or in a similar role.
  • Must have successfully completed Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic with a genuine passion for food.
  • Valid working rights in Australia (at least 6 months).
  • A team player with a positive attitude.
  • Open Australian driver licence (manual essential for some roles).
  • Relevant experience to the role.
  • Proactive approach to keeping up to date with current trends.
