**The role**

The primary purpose of this role is to enhance Return to Work (RTW) outcomes in high-risk worker's compensation cases by influencing stakeholders, reducing barriers, and implementing national strategies, while delivering a positive customer experience.

**You'll be responsible for**
- Working with Team Managers and Case Managers to identify higher risk claims that would benefit from hands-on RTW support to overcome barriers.
- Engaging with workers, employers, treating practitioners and providers to collaboratively plan and implement a personalised and holistic RTW solution.
- Attending medical case conferences and worksite visits where appropriate to plan, initiate, and progress RTW in a safe, timely, and durable manner.
- Assisting the Case Manager in implementing the agreed RTW strategy by actioning targeted rehab and other interventions, as well as timely approvals where needed.
- Monitoring workplace rehabilitation usage, efficacy, and expenditure and implement improvement strategies to achieve performance targets.

**About you**
- 3+ years' experience in personal injury management (case management, workplace rehabilitation, RTW Coordinator, Injury Management Coordinator or similar)
- Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management, Diploma of Personal Injury & Disability Insurance Management, or an Allied health degree desirable.
- Ability to build effective relationships, influence and negotiate with stakeholders to achieve RTW outcomes.
- Ability to make independent as well as collaborative decisions during expected or unexpected situations and then taking responsibility for the consequences of decisions taken.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
