Key Role
A comprehensive understanding of cloud computing is required for this position. The AWS Solutions Architecture team collaborates with the Australian Government and partners on architecting innovative solutions for all stakeholders.
Our work can be highly sensitive and time critical, focusing on strategic and operational outcomes. We are dedicated to supporting our Public Sector community and ensuring successful outcomes.
The primary responsibilities include owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects, as well as developing deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad knowledge of how applications and services are constructed on the AWS platform.
Effective communication skills are essential to represent the organization well within a customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel. A strong technical background is also necessary to interact with software developers and architects, think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, and hold or be able to attain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance.
As a Senior Architect, you will craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures addressing customer business problems by partnering with internal teams and leveraging deep knowledge of AWS tools and products.

Responsibilities include:
