**About the role**
As a Building Maintenance Technician, you are involved in the maintenance of installed buildings, predominantly throughout the Perth metropolitan area and occasional work in regional localities. This position will handle miscellaneous building works performing a range of manual labour tasks (variety of trade works). This role requires interaction with building owners and/or stakeholders and aids the Fleetwood Operations and Project Management team. A company vehicle, tools, laptop and mobile phone will be provided.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Liaising with Fleetwood Operations and Project Management, to identify and prioritise maintenance work across a range of residential and commercial projects.
- If required, engaging, coordinating and managing trades and subcontractors to complete the works.
- Performing building maintenance works across a variety of trade skills.
- Relieving Site Supervisors from time to time as required.
- Collation and preparation of materials and equipment required for maintenance tasks, for despatch to offsite destination.
- Maintaining a clean and safe worksite.
- Ensure that all work meet quality, safety and environmental objectives.
- Ensure all works adhere to WHSE, QA and building compliances and regulations.

- Ability to work with minimum supervision and can work as part of a team or independently
- Be able to complete multiple tasks with varying levels of priority
- Willing to potentially travel to multiple sites per day/week.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in building/construction across a variety of trade works
- Relevant trade qualification
- Valid White Card and Australian driver's license
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards/Regulations and other applicable legislations and construction techniques
- Excellent understanding of all safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures, regulations and legislation
