We are seeking a Facility Supervisor for a permanent, part-time position (48 hours fortnightly) based at our facility.
This is a 'live-in' position that includes providing after-hours support.The hours will be as follows:Week 1: Thursday & FridayWeek 2: Thursday to SundayWhat you will be doing in this role:Undertake tenancy management functions;Complete and/or arrange cleaning and maintenance;Work effectively and regularly liaise with tenants to ensure their health and wellbeing is maintained;Provide assistance and preparation of meals;Provide limited on-call assistance to tenants outside 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday to ensure the smooth running of the property, including emergencies out of hours.What we can offer you:Salary ranging from $79,573.52 to $82,952.48 (Full-time equivalent) plus superannuation and salary sacrifice options;Shift loading of 55%;Opportunities for personal and professional growth;Collaborative team culture.You must have:Knowledge of issues pertaining to people experiencing homelessness;Understanding of relevant legislation including the Residential Tenancy Act 1997 and occupational health and safety requirements, or willingness to develop this knowledge;Safe Food Handling certificate or willingness to undertake training;Ability to work effectively within a team and knowledge of external support services for tenants;Ability to contribute to team activities such as debriefings and program planning;Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks;High interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;Sound computer skills;Understanding of privacy and confidentiality issues.The Position Description with further details can be found below.For more information, please contact Sam Coetzee, Manager - Adult Supported Accommodation Facilities, at or call during business hours.The successful applicant will be required to:Provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment/volunteer category) including NDIS Worker Screening Check;Present an unsupervised contact with children or vulnerable people (no older than 12 months) Police Check;Provide an International Police Check if residing outside Australia for 12 months or more after age 16;Undergo a satisfactory medical assessment by Anglicare;Hold a current Australian Driver Licence (provisional or full).
