Job Title: Housing SupervisorJob Summary:

We are seeking a housing supervisor to manage and maintain our residential facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support services to tenants, including meal preparation, cleaning, and maintenance.

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of tenants, ensuring their health and wellbeing is maintained;
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility, completing tasks such as laundry and cleaning schedules;
  • Coordinate and assist with meal preparation, adhering to safe food handling practices;
  • Provide on-call assistance to tenants outside regular working hours, responding to emergencies and resolving issues promptly;

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of homelessness issues and relevant legislation;
  • Understanding of occupational health and safety requirements;
  • Safe Food Handling certificate or willingness to undertake training;
  • Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks;
  • High interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;
  • Sound computer skills;
  • Understanding of privacy and confidentiality issues;
